Born in Corona, California but we moved to South Dakota when I was young. Earned both my Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from Northern State University. Then worked several jobs before making one of the best decisions I have ever made.
At the start of 2002 I moved down to Campbellsville, Kentucky to be Assistant Baseball Coach for the Tigers at Campbellsville University. Over 9 seasons we won a lot of games, conference championships, and went to the NAIA College World Series.
In 2011 I made a difficult decision to leave because both my parents were having health trouble and I took the Head Coaching position at Dakota State University, closer to family. We had some good years and some bad years, played in the National Tournament in our second year after going 3-37 the first season. I got to coach with my brother as my assistant for six seasons then resigned this last winter.
Scouting is something that appeals to me but right now this is what occupies my time, along with family and watching baseball games.
Baseball Sauna is still being developed and content will continue to be added. Send me a message and let me know how you like the Baseball Sauna. By the way, the name Baseball Sauna comes from an area I created in the basement of my house. Yes, it looks like a sauna and I use it as an office to write my articles.
